Stress, Acidity, and Dental Decay
I was at a barbecue this weekend and met a physician there. I'll call him Dr. T. We got talking about disease and the disease business. Of procedure I was fairly quick to bring up the issue of acidosis and alkalinity. I was surprised to find that this physician was in fact up to date with his knowledge and understanding colse to the mechanisms of disease. We had a fairly frank discussion.
The short story is that it seems there are a few doctors who are aware of the point of alkalinity in the arresting of conditions that lead to disease. Dr. T indicated to me that the healing profession is aware that persons who are adequately hydrated with properly alkalized water generate intra-cellular conditions that make it difficult, if not impossible, for defective or mutated cells to replicate. In layman's terms, this appears to mean that under the right circumstances, disease cannot exist.

I asked him why, then, is there not more concentration given to this. I found the reply somewhat annoying. The way the healing principles in many western countries is set up, doctors are not paid well for subjective intervention such as discussing diets, and corporeal processes. They are paid well for treating symptoms for patients in rapid succession. A general practitioner might reasonably see 45 to 60 patients per day under this model. If he or she were to consult fully with their clients, there would be time for only about 5 to 10 patients per day.
Dr. T told me that he had seen the effects of high acid diets, especially since the introduction of all these "energy drinks". He told me of one beloved drink that within one hour of involving a can of this stuff, his clients blood cells looked like the blood cells of a 75 year old man. The blood was thick and sticky. He indicated that these drinks are of concern to the health care industry. There is no pharmaceutical remedy for this kind of self abuse.
At the same time, we talked about the great benefits of alkalinity. Dr. T. Told me about a client he had that was under a lot of stress. As a result, her body was producing weighty amounts of acid. In an attempt to operate the acid, his client did what most population are told to do for stress. She exercised more! What she did not comprehend is that practice turns up the volume on acid output considerably. When you breathe more and work your muscles you are building up lactic acid, carbonic acid and a range of blood acids. Dr. T's client began to touch her teeth pitting and rotting. It was as though they suddenly all decided to rot out of her head. The acid was eating away at the enamel quickly.
Dr. T swiftly put his client on a high alkaline water and roughly immediately the dental decay was arrested. She had dental work done to heal the damage and after 5 months of general practice and a high alkaline diet, she had no dental decay and was finding and feeling very well.
As the story of alkalinity get out, more and more population will get onboard and fix their diets. It doesn't take much attempt to in fact get on the right path.
